Here’s something you might not know about me…

I LOOOOOOOVE COFFEE. And yes, over the years, I’ve had to reduce my intake!

I also love walking in nature. Writing notes by hand with my favourite pen. Saving inspiring quotes. Eating overnight oats every. single. morning. (Click here for my quick and healthy recipe.) A fake tan. Flowers. Putting PJs on. A glass of Merlot. Spending quality time with family and friends. Reading self-development books. And being kind.

These small things make me feel happy every day. And I don’t know about you? But one of my goals is to be as happy as possible. Which is why I’ve made it both a daily practice and conscious choice.

With that said, here’s an easy way for you to feel happier every day, too:

First, make a coffee 🙃. Then, grab your notebook and take 7 minutes to write down your answers to these questions…

What do you love?

What makes you happy?

Don’t worry about it being neat. Perfect. Or “right”. Simply jot down anything and everything that comes to your mind.

Now choose one or two things you can do daily or weekly starting today. And do them. 

Because when you do things you love every single day, you create positive neural pathways that naturally boost your mood, reduce stress and calm your mind.
