Today, I’m sharing a simple and quick tip on how I achieve my goals. (Part 2 of 3 Part Series)

It’s an amazing goal-setting tool that I’m so glad I learnt about. It’s made a big difference to what I’ve been able to achieve in the last handful of years. So, I wanted to share it with you today, hoping it does the same for you and your goals.

I Put My Goals on My Calendar

I strongly encourage you to put your goals on your calendar too. To give yourself the best chance of achieving your dreams and goals, by purposefully making time for them in your life. 

How to Put Your Goals on Your Calendar to Help You Achieve Them

Putting a goal on your calendar is as simple and quick as:

(1) Opening your calendar on your phone.

(2) Deciding when and where you’ll work on your goal. 

(3) Creating an event on your calendar for the time and place you’ll take action on your goal.

For example, if your goal is to exercise more, you might open the calendar on your phone and create this event:

The Benefit of Putting Your Goals on Your Calendar

This simple tool of blocking timeout on your calendar for when and where you’ll work on your goal more than doubles your chances of achievement and success.

And importantly, it’s backed by research—which has found, for example, that 91% of people who planned when and where they’d exercise actually did. 

Putting your goals on your calendar works because it ensures you make time in your day for your goals.
