You know the way you speak to yourself? 

Have you ever considered you’d never let a friend speak to you in the same way?

Or, that you’d never talk to a friend the way you talk to yourself?

I’m so unattractive. Nothing looks good on me. I hate the way I look in my clothes, in the mirror, in photos. 

I’m so undisciplined, unmotivated and lazy. I never eat better or exercise consistently like I say I will.

I’m so annoyed and fed up with myself. Why can’t I just change. 

Now — just for a minute — imagine a friend saying those 👆 things to you. How would you feel?

Unmotivated? Down? Heavy? Stuck?

The same feelings you have when you’re getting at yourself in the privacy of your own mind, right? Because, if you’re anything like me, you don’t just hear words, you feel them. 

That’s why, over the years, I’ve worked really hard to change my self-talk. To make it more positive, encouraging and loving.
