Want to Eat Better Like You Say You Will? Here’s How to Change

Frustrated with yourself for not eating better this week?

You’re not alone. And if you’re anything like me, you promise yourself the same thing every Sunday night.

It’s a horrible cycle, isn’t it?

Here’s what changed things for me: I realised you don’t have to do everything at once.

In fact, to create a healthy balanced lifestyle, you must do less.

You have to start small today to achieve everything you want this year and beyond.

It’s the mindset that surprises every woman I work with who wants to feel happier, healthier and more confident in herself.

A mental and emotional reset that stops the overwhelm. The constant negative self-talk. And the guilt of always starting again on Monday.

Sound too good to be true? Don’t take my word for it. Experiment and discover if it works for you.

And if you don’t know where to start, here’s 2 simple habits to consider:

#1 Eat a quick, easy and nutritious breakfast every morning.

It kickstarts your metabolism. Reduces fatigue. And gives you the energy you need for a successful, productive day

It also helps reduce those cravings for Snickers, hobnobs and Salt and Vinegar crisps. And can help you resist the temptation to overeat that curry and Peshwari naan when you’re finally chilling on the sofa watching Brassic.

#2 Add fruit or veg to every meal (don’t change anything else).

The more fruit and veg I eat, the happier, calmer and more energised I am. And science backs this up. So, try berries on your breakfast. A banana with your morning snack. Cherry tomatoes with your lunch. And broccoli with your supper.

Packed with vitamins, minerals and fibre they’ll improve your mood. Help your mind and body perform at their best. And even reduce the signs of ageing. 🙌

When I stopped trying to change everything at once, everything changed. I felt in control. Lighter. More joyful. More me. And like I could actually do what I said I would.

That’s what I want for you, too.

So if you want to give this counterintuitive mindset a go, pick just one habit. Try it for a week. And notice what changes.

Are you happier? More confident? More energetic?

Sending you endless encouragement,

Becky x
