Need to Clear Your Mind? Try This to Feel Lighter in 10 Minutes

Imagine this…

You’ve lit your log burner. Changed into your new PJs. Put a winter spice candle on. Made yourself a cuppa. Warmed up an Aldi mince pie. And now you’re all cosy, you journal for 10 minutes before watching The Holiday — again ;).

This 👆 is one of my favourite things to do when I’m off over Christmas and New Year. It clears my mind. Silences my inner critic. And makes me feel so much lighter, happier and calmer in myself.

Want to feel this way, too? Here’s 3 journaling prompts I suggest:

  • What are you proud of achieving this year? And how has it positively impacted your life?
  • What have you struggled with in 2025? And how would your life change if you could move past it in 2026?
  • What dreams and goals do you have for next year? And how would achieving them make you feel?

The most important part? Be kind to yourself.
