Wish you felt happier and healthier in yourself and your body?

I’ve been there too.

That’s why this week, I’m sharing 3 habits I wish I’d started sooner to help me look and feel my best every day.

Each habit:

  • Costs very little
  • Can be achieved in 10 minutes or less
  • Will make you feel lighter, in control again and confident — when you make them a consistent part of your routine

Habit #1 Train Your Mind

We need to train our minds every day to feel more positive, clear-headed and increase self-belief.

The #1 way I train mine? Journaling

Or put simply: Capturing my thoughts and feelings on paper.

When I don’t, it can lead to negative thought spirals and feelings of heaviness that become hard to shift.

Initially, journaling was hard. I often didn’t feel like it. And couldn’t find the motivation to get started.

But now — because I stuck with it until it became a habit — it’s easy to do. And honestly, I don’t feel like myself if I skip it.

Habit #2 Start Eating Better

Early in my career, I didn’t have time for healthy eating.

I was busy. Overwhelmed. Tired.

But there’s one thing I’m grateful I discovered: Habit stacking!

After many failed attempts at “being good”, I changed my approach. I focused on one change at a time.

First, it was eating a healthier breakfast. Then, I stopped adding sugar to coffee, started having salads for lunch and eventually made my snacks healthier too.

Was it easy? No. Did I always stick to my new habit? No. Was I perfect? No.

Was it worth it? Yes! Because over the years, those habits have added up and now make healthy eating easy.

My point is this: To change your health, you don’t have to eat perfectly. You just have to get started.

Habit #3 Move Your Body

I used to get so annoyed at myself when I skipped exercise because I felt tired or unmotivated.

Until I realised I needed to change my mindset around exercise AND make it a habit — rather than rely on motivation!

So, I started seeing exercise not only as a way to look and feel better in my clothes, manage my weight and get toned. But also to clear my head, improve my self-confidence and be more present.

Habit-wise, it’s taken time, experimentation and persistence, but just like anything that improves your mental, emotional and physical health, it’s been SO worth it.

Basically, these are the 3 foundational habits you need to do to be happy, healthy and confident in who you are. And when you make them part of your daily routine, you’ll become the best version of YOU, personally and professionally.

If you’re thinking, “This all sounds great, but I don’t know how to change or where to start”, then please know that’s exactly why I created my life-changing Tailored to You 29 Day Reset Program.

It helped Ashleigh create a healthy morning routine she does every day — and gives her time to herself guilt-free.

It’s also helped Susan improve her daily routine and habits — and in her words, “feel so much better about everything”.

I know I can help you, too. So if you’re interested, click here to learn more.
