My Virus-Fighting Magic Tonic Recipe
To get the benefits of this super healthy yet simple tonic, add the ingredients below to a mug and stir. (1 serving)
- 1 garlic clove chopped into small pieces (leave for 10 mins while you prep the rest — learn why here)
- 1/2 a cup of boiled water (leave to cool for 5 mins)
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon (if you like, scoop the pulp into your mug too — and grate in some lemon zest)
- 1/2 a teaspoon of:
- cayenne pepper
- cinnamon
- ginger
- turmeric
- 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons of honey (try Manuka honey from Aldi, or local honey if you’ve got it)
It’s got quite a kick…
So, I’ll be honest, it takes getting used to. Its benefits are worth it though — promise.

It might feel like an effort to make this tonic but remember these two things.
