  • How switching on one system in your brain helps you get what you want with less effort!
  • The best way to set your goals and increase your motivation.
  • The #1 way to increase your chances of success by 40%.

We’re more fortunate than we realise.

Don’t succumb to the belief both the media and negative people online and in person want you to believe — that everything’s getting worse. It’s not.

Life’s always been difficult for people, there’s always been things to complain about, and there’ll always be problems to solve.

However, look at the bigger picture, and you’ll see things really are getting better — the human race is always advancing.

You live in a world with the opportunity to access more than women 40 years ago could ever imagine.

It’s one of the best times in history — you just have to learn how to make the most of it.

Nevertheless, as much as I love the modern world, I’m mindful that with more opportunities than we know what to do with, most of us are so overwhelmed we don’t know where to start.

We’re being pulled in so many different directions and trying to keep up with so many expectations it’s hard to find the time to think about what we want out of life, let alone achieve our goals.

My advice? Keep it short and simple!

Take 10 minutes right now to grab a coffee and your notebook, and follow the easy steps below to achieve your #1 goal in less time than you think.

How To Achieve Your #1 Goal

Starting to achieve your #1 goal is simple:

Decide what you want.

Write it down.

Look at it every day.

Writing your goals on paper forces you to get clear and specific on what you want out of your life — it turns your dreams and wishes into something concrete.

Rather than having a vague idea roaming around your head about wanting to be happier, healthier and more successful — writing it down makes you think about how you’ll actually achieve those things.

For example, your wish of being more positive becomes: “I will be more positive by doing a daily gratitude list.

Creating a healthy morning routine becomes: “I will eat a healthier breakfast and go for a walk every morning.”

Your dream of buying a house someday becomes: “I will save £250 every month for the next 3 years for my house deposit”.

Then, looking at your goal every single day ensures you keep what’s most important to YOU top of mind — no matter what else happens.

It also tells your brain it’s important to you and activates your Reticular Activating System. Or your RAS for short, and to help you remember it!

Ever driven to work but didn’t remember much of the journey? That’s your RAS deciding not to register information because it doesn’t see it as important.

In other words, your brain’s constantly scanning your environment and deciding what information to let in from the billions of data bombarding you every day!

So, when you write down your goals and look at them often, your brain ensures you pay attention to what you need to see, know, do and change to achieve it.

Then, it creatively processes that information so you never run out of ways to move forward on the things most important to you.

Bonus Tip!

Writing “I will” at the start of your goals makes them more powerful. It taps into your sense of self-belief, which research proves increases your motivation and the action you take — even when you don’t feel like it!

It’s easy to dismiss this goal-setting tip as too simple, right?

Too easy?

Please don’t. It works.

It’s worked for me. And I know it’ll work for you.

Plus, it’s backed by science — with research showing you’re 40% more likely to achieve your goals when you write them down.

So, what’s most important to you right now? What dream or goal do you have? Jot it down.

Then, put it somewhere you’ll see it every day.

By making a clear commitment to your goal by writing it down, you put yourself in the best position to become “that girl”.

Goals inspire and motivate you. They point you in the right direction. And the more you remind yourself of them, the more likely you are to achieve them.
